Colorado Water Lily

The Colorado water lily has unique salmon-colored flowers stand 3" to 4" above the water's surface and bloom late into the season with a pleasant fragrance. The blooms are a soft pink on the outer petals to a soft peach color on the innermost petals. Blooms change color as the season progresses.

Nymphaea "Colorado" Hardy from zone 4-11. Plant Size: Medium-Large. Bred by Dr. Kirk Strawn 1994, flower is peach, 4" - 7" across. When matured the flower will raise well above water surface. Has a 3'- 7' spread, marliac root system. Leaves are green and are very mottled. Will grow in 1' to 3' of water. Best to grow in 1.5' of water. You can use a 2 to 3 gallon container for this one. This is my favorite Peach Hardy and I have to give Dr. Strawn high marks for creating this one. Excellent bloomer and grower. Good for container pond or earthen. Will spread well. Starts growing early in the year and will stay till the end of fall. Blooms change color as the season progresses. Full sun
