Nymphaea “Chromatella“ Hardy from zone 4-11. Plant Size: Medium. Bred by Latour Maliac 1887, flower is a soft yellow, 4“- 6“ across. Has a spread of 4'- 7', marliac root system. Leaves are slightly mottled green with reddish freckles. Will grow in 6“ to 2.5' of water. Best to grow in 1.5' of water. You can use a 2 to 3 gallon container to grow this one. This is one of the oldest hybrids known in the water lily world. Blooms late in the year and good grower. One for the collector. Full sun
